Scientific Cooperation Agreement Signed Between VINATOM and ICISE

The Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute and the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education signed a five-year agreement in a ceremony held in Hanoi to strengthen international cooperation across various disciplines such as nuclear physics, artificial intelligence, and materials science.

Representatives of the institutions came together at an official signing ceremony held in Hanoi to approve the cooperation document.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Tran Chi Thanh, Director of the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute, and Professor Tran Thanh Van, Director of ICISE.

Areas of Cooperation

Within the scope of the signed protocol, joint work will be carried out in basic science fields such as nuclear physics, high-energy physics, quantum physics, and photonics.

Additionally, technological disciplines such as medical physics, materials science, advanced materials, radiation measurement, simulation, and artificial intelligence are among the joint study topics.

Joint Activities and Process

The two institutions agreed to develop joint research programs as well as organize conferences, seminars, and academic forums.

This cooperation agreement, which will increase support for young scientists, will remain valid for a period of five years from the official date of signing.
