Statements on TEKNOFEST and Chip Production from Yongatek General Manager Ali Baran

Evaluating at the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival held under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, Yongatek Microelectronics General Manager Ali Baran drew attention to the organization's critical role in Turkey's technological development.
The Festival as a Pioneer of Technological Transformation
Making evaluations within the scope of the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival followed at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, Yongatek Microelectronics General Manager Ali Baran stated that the organization plays a major role in the country's technological development.
Appreciating the efforts and works carried out by young people in the competitions, Baran emphasized that the festival has the character of an Olympics where the fire of Turkey's technological transformation is lit.
Future Period Chip Production Targets
Touching upon the works carried out by the company, Ali Baran stated that they have a chip target of approximately 30 million with Beko in the upcoming period.
Stating that products at the level of millions of units will be delivered in 2027, Baran noted that it is planned to increase this figure to the level of 30 million between 2028 and 2029.
Artificial Intelligence Chip and Target Markets
Touching upon the works in the field of artificial intelligence chips as well, the general manager conveyed that they aim to reach the million level in the next 3-year period and to produce approximately 5 million artificial intelligence chips in the medium and long term.
Stating that European and Middle Eastern countries are their primary markets, Baran noted that their first and key customer in the field of microcontrollers is Beko, and their key customer on the artificial intelligence chip side is ASELSAN.
