Match organizer Younis Abu Sehloul stated that the event was organized to bring a brief moment of joy to those living under the effects of destruction and displacement.
Call for Support and Condition of Pitches
Noting that they are forced to use empty and sandy areas due to the destruction of grass pitches and sports clubs, Abu Sehloul made a call to FIFA, the Arab Football Association, and the Arab League.
Views of Footballers and Spectators
Ahmed al-Lulahi, who plays for the Rafah City Stars team, expressed that the match provided an opportunity for players to release energy and for spectators to distance themselves from war conditions.

According to data released by the Palestinian Sports Press Association in July, approximately 1,012 athletes have lost their lives and 285 sports facilities and pitches have been destroyed in the attacks.
