Strategic Investment Move for Science and Digital Transformation in Vietnam
Technological development projects carried out across the country aim to increase industrial capacity in major cities while expanding digital public services in rural areas.
Vietnam is launching strategic investments in centers such as Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang to accelerate science, technology, and digital transformation within the framework of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, while making digital services accessible to the public through local projects.
Technology-Focused Investments in Major Cities
Ho Chi Minh City is allocating significant funds to research centers focusing on semiconductors, artificial intelligence, advanced materials, and IoT technologies under the CoE Project. These efforts, conducted through AMTI and the High-Tech Park, aim to strengthen the country's industrial innovation capacity.
The city of Da Nang, with its resolution 33/2026/NQ-HĐND, is encouraging private sector participation in the digitalization process by providing financial support of up to 70% for the technological innovation activities of local businesses.
Digitalization and Public Services in Rural Areas
In Tuyen Quang province, a high success rate of 99.91% has been achieved by moving administrative procedures to a digital environment. This development is considered a critical step in accelerating bureaucratic processes and facilitating citizens' access to public services.
In the Nghe An border region, a QR code-based anonymous email box model has been implemented. This application allows the public to participate in security processes more actively and securely.
