Internationally Participated Event

The event titled 'Following the Traces of STEM: Kütahya Digital STEM Walk', carried out by the YEĞİTEK Project Coordination of the Kütahya Provincial Directorate of National Education, was held.

Mixed Teams and Intercultural Communication

Mixed teams formed by students from different schools acted together throughout the day, shared tasks, and developed joint solutions to the problems they encountered.

With Spanish students also taking part in the teams, the participants had the opportunity to use their foreign languages in daily life and establish intercultural communication.

Tasks at Six Different Cultural Points

Students completed digital STEM tasks prepared at six different cultural points: Yeşil Mosque, Dönenler Mosque, Great Mosque, Germiyan Street, Tile Workshop, and City History Museum.

The introduction of Kütahya's historical and cultural values by the students to their peers added an international dimension to the event.

Skill Development in Real Life Environments

Studies were carried out in various fields such as geometry and patterns, measurement and estimation, data classification, structure and engineering features, and traditional production technologies.

In the event, which aligns with the skill-based learning approach of the Turkey Century Education Model, students used their problem-solving, collaboration, and digital skills in real-life environments.
