Schools affiliated with the Izmir Provincial Directorate of National Education achieved significant success in the finals of TEKNOFEST 2026, the world's largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, held in Diyarbakir.
Important Rankings from Izmir Science High School
Izmir Science High School achieved the success of becoming the runner-up in Turkey with its project in the field of climate change and disaster management.
The school also achieved success by qualifying for the finals in the technologies for the benefit of humanity category.
Works of the Science and Art Center
Cigli Aydogan Yagci Science and Art Center took part in the finals with a total of 7 different projects.
The students drew the attention of the jury members with the innovative technology projects they developed.
Accessible Education Projects
Izmir Girls' High School stood out with its project aimed at enabling visually impaired individuals to participate in chemistry education.
The developed haptic wristband project won the appreciation of the jury and took place in the final exhibition.
