At the annual Scientific Conference of the Tam Anh General Hospital System, it was announced that the hospital is involved in strategic technology groups within the healthcare sector and is developing strategic technologies to enhance Vietnam's healthcare capacity.
Conference and Strategic Technologies
Tam Anh General Hospital is involved in two out of the three strategic technology groups of the healthcare sector with nine strategic technology product categories.
The annual Scientific Conference of the Tam Anh General Hospital System was successfully held from September 16 to 20, 2026.
International Scientific Developments
Dr. Nguyen Ngo Quang, Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Training under the Ministry of Health, stated that internationally recognized scientific knowledge was brought to Vietnam for the first time.
Within the scope of the conference, hundreds of important papers covering cell therapy, proton therapy, and next-generation antiviral drugs were shared with participants.
Patient Admission and Service Capacity
Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Administration under the Ministry of Health, stated that the hospital has received approximately 2.5 million patient visits annually over a decade.
The presence of over twelve thousand foreign patients among the visitors highlights the hospital's international credibility and capacity.
Investments in Technology
Mr. Ngo Chi Dung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tam Anh General Hospital System, emphasized that they operate on the principle of maximizing investments in science and technology.
The developed strategic technologies are considered an important step in strengthening the country's overall healthcare infrastructure.
