TEKNOFEST Southeast continues on its second day in Sanliurfa
Held for the first time in Şanlıurfa, TEKNOFEST Southeast successfully concluded with air shows, technology competitions, and high attendance.
Carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the T3 Foundation, and STM at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, TEKNOFEST Southeast brought together technology and aviation enthusiasts from September 30 to October 4, 2026.
Organizers and Dates of the Festival
The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, TEKNOFEST, was realized this year at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport under the name TEKNOFEST Southeast. The event was held between September 30 and October 4, 2026.
Domestic and National Vehicles Exhibited
Throughout the festival, domestic aircraft such as the Turkish Stars, SOLOTÜRK, ATAK helicopters, HÜRKUŞ, HÜRJET, CEZERİ, ANKA, KIZILELMA, KAAN, Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB3, and Bayraktar AKINCI performed shows.
Special Experience and Promotion Areas
The Göbeklitepe Experience Area, TÜME Area, Hezarfen Experience Area, and HÜRKUŞ Mini Flight Area were established within the event grounds. TSE set up a booth and explained the importance of standards through experiments.
Competitions and Award Ceremony
Technology competitions featuring thousands of teams and contestants were held. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited the festival and presented awards to the winners.
Cultural Events and Concerts
Within the scope of the festival, which attracted intense interest from visitors, concerts by Semicenk and Ceza were held. The Steel Wings commando team also presented a successful operation demonstration.
