TEKNOFEST Southeast excitement begins in Şanlıurfa
Bringing historical heritage together with modern technology, the festival will open its doors from September 30 to October 4.
Şanlıurfa, the hometown of Al-Battani, one of the pioneering scholars of the medieval Islamic world, is preparing to host TEKNOFEST Southeast, blending centuries-old scientific heritage with today's technology.

The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) will be held in Şanlıurfa from September 30 to October 4.

The event is implemented under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the T3 Foundation, and Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc. (STM).

Harran, one of the oldest settlements in the world, stands out among the centers where many important scientists were raised in the past.
Traces of Al-Battani
Born in Harran and renowned for his work in mathematics and astronomy, Al-Battani became one of the figures who shaped the history of science through his observations conducted over approximately 41 years.
Interest of the Youth
The organization of TEKNOFEST in the same geography 1,200 years after Al-Battani aims to increase the interest of children and youth in science and technology.
