Living in the Edremit district of Balıkesir and ranking in the top 1,000 in the High School Transition System (LGS) exam, Rüzgar Toprak Arslan has been admitted to the high school established within the center where he attended a summer camp five years ago.

A journey from summer camp to high school desks

Rüzgar Toprak Arslan, residing in the Edremit district of Balıkesir, managed to enter the top 1,000 students with his outstanding success in the central exam held under the LGS.

Following this significant achievement, Arslan chose his first preference, the new science high school that started operating within the Gökmen Space Aviation Training Center.

A dream formed years ago turns into reality

The young student stated that the three-day summer camp he spent at the center in question five years ago served as a turning point in his life.

Expressing the admiration he felt during the camp period and noting that he had wished for it to become a school, Arslan shared his happiness at realizing this dream today.

Qualified education in aviation and space

The school, brought to life under the leadership of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the cooperation of relevant ministries and institutions, has admitted its first students.

The successful student, who aims to become an aircraft engineer, took his place among the first students of this newly established special educational institution.

Special opportunities for future technologies

In statements made by the center's management, attention was drawn to the facilities offered by the school, which will educate a total of 48 students this year.

It was emphasized that students will be trained in the field of aviation by utilizing advanced facilities such as laboratories, simulations, prototyping, and production workshops.
