Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır presented the TÜBA-TEKNOFEST Doctoral Science Awards to 15 scientists who won them within the scope of the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival ongoing at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır came together with successful academics at the event held at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.

At the festival, where Anadolu Agency is the Global Communication Partner, awards were presented to researchers who ranked in various categories.

Fields Awarded

The TÜBA-TEKNOFEST Doctoral Science Award covers strategic fields such as technology, design, artificial intelligence, energy, and biotechnology.

Additionally, dissertations encompassing the international relations, development, and security policy dimensions of the National Technology Move are also evaluated.

Science and Engineering Field

In the field of science and engineering sciences, Sezer Önbilgin from Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University won the first place award.

Kürşat Tekbıyık from Istanbul Technical University came in second, while Nedim Hacıosmanoğlu from İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University and Mehmet Can from Istanbul Technical University placed third.

Health and Social Sciences

In the health and life sciences category, Ahmet Kağızman from Istanbul Technical University ranked first, Osman Oğuz Demir from Hacettepe University came in second, and Merve Gülbahar Eren from Sakarya University placed third.

In social and humanities, Adem Kantar from Ankara University achieved first place.

Basic Sciences Results

In the field of basic sciences, Musa Dırak from Koç University was announced as the winner of the first place award.

Oğuzhan Karakurt from Middle East Technical University received the second place award, while Hasan Kara from Düzce University and Tuğba Hacıefendioğlu Aydın from METU received the third place awards.
