Limit Update on SME Loans

Clarity was provided on whether the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increasing the growth limit on SME loans from 4.5 percent to 5 percent was related to the fund investigations. It was stated that the investigation has taken place in a more limited area covering individuals.

Liquidity and the Situation of SMEs

Alpaslan Çakar conveyed that work on SME loans has been ongoing for some time. It was pointed out that the biggest problem regarding access to liquidity is experienced by SMEs.
