Vietnam Blue Dragon Awards Connects Cultural Heritage with Digitalization
Vietnam has launched a new award program focused on science, technology, and digital transformation to preserve and promote its cultural values.
Announced in Hanoi, the Vietnam Blue Dragon Awards aim to strengthen the country's cultural heritage with the possibilities of the digital age and reward innovative projects.
Purpose and Scope of the Program
The award program, initiated by the Institute of Innovation and Digital Transformation, is being conducted in collaboration with institutions under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The initiative aims to safeguard Vietnam's rich cultural values while ensuring these values reach wider audiences on digital platforms.
Award Categories
The program includes six different categories, such as Blue Dragon Heritage, Blue Dragon Destination Brand, Blue Dragon of Cultural Industry, and Blue Dragon Innovation Award.
Additionally, the Blue Dragon STEAM and Blue Dragon Impact categories aim to support creative work in the fields of technology and education.
Ecosystem and Future Vision
The organization plans to create a sustainable ecosystem by bringing together local governments, private sector businesses, and technology startups.
Through this collaboration, the goal is to represent Vietnam's cultural soft power more effectively in the digital world.
Forum Series and Events
Within the framework of the award program, a forum series themed 'Vietnam's Soft Power in the Digital Age' will be held to conduct discussions on cultural transformation.
