Award Ceremony and Competition Details
The Ministry of Science and Technology held the 2026 Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Book Award Ceremony to honor outstanding books with high scientific value, practical application, and far-reaching impact.
In its inaugural year, the competition received strong interest with a total of 329 entries from over forty publishers and organizations.
Content and Preparation Process of the Work
The Vietnam Red Data Book was brought to life by combining the wisdom of scientists from various institutions and units across the country.
This comprehensive work serves as an essential reference source that compiles and updates research results on endangered species in Vietnam.
Jury Evaluation and Winners
Carefully considering the quality of each work, the selection jury decided to award a total of 10 works.
The first prize was awarded to the two-volume set consisting of the Animals volume, compiled by Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Truong, and the Plants and Fungi volume, compiled by Professor Dr. Tran The Bach, Dr. Nguyen The Cuong, Dr. Do Van Hai, and Dr. Bui Hong Quang.
