In 2026, the budget allocated for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation is projected to reach approximately 95 trillion VND. This amount corresponds to 3 percent of total state budget expenditures.
Obstacles in the Implementation Process
According to the Department of Planning and Finance under the Ministry of Science and Technology, bottlenecks in mechanisms and resources have been significantly eliminated. However, hesitation during the implementation phase and a mindset of avoiding responsibility make it difficult to utilize capital effectively.
New Directive and Objectives
The Prime Minister's Directive No. 29/CT-TTg aims to accelerate budget allocation and disbursements. In this context, delayed tasks are identified, and resources are reallocated to projects with high potential for success.
