The National Assembly of Vietnam has approved a new resolution containing special mechanisms and policies to address law violations in the state and private economic sectors, as well as in the applications of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Voting in the Assembly and Adoption of the Resolution

The National Assembly of Vietnam implemented an important legal regulation during its session on the morning of August 24, 2026. With 465 out of 471 delegates present voting in favor, the draft resolution containing special mechanisms for law violations in the state economy, private economy, and technological transformation processes was adopted.

Structure of the Draft and Amendments Made

The adopted draft resolution maintained its original structure consisting of a total of 3 chapters and 13 articles. As a result of the evaluations, amendments were made to 11 of the 13 articles in the draft, while the remaining 2 articles were preserved exactly as they were without any changes.

Before the adoption of the resolution, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, speaking on behalf of the drafting agency, took the floor to address the opinions and suggestions of the National Assembly deputies and provided the necessary explanations.
