Trade Minister Ömer Bolat Announces Economic Growth Figures in Kayseri
Speaking at an industrial night in Kayseri, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat emphasized that the Turkish economy has grown more than sevenfold and that year-end export targets will be exceeded.
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated at the Industry Night program in Kayseri that, thanks to correct policies and political stability, the Turkish economy has recorded a growth of more than sevenfold.
Kayseri Contacts and Investments
As part of his official contacts in Kayseri, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat visited Governor Gökmen Çiçek and Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, and attended meetings held in the city.
Touching upon Kayseri's successes in trade, Minister Bolat conveyed that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, 500 billion liras worth of public investments have been made in the city over the last twenty-three years.
Economic Growth and Ranking
Stating that the Turkish economy has shown a growth of more than sevenfold thanks to political stability, economic reforms, and correct policies, Minister Ömer Bolat drew attention to the developments during this process.
It was noted that along with this growth and development, Turkey has risen from the 21st largest economy in the world to the 16th largest economy.
Export Targets and Expectations
Expressing that they will surpass the targets by exceeding the 282 billion dollar target set for the end of the year by a few billion dollars, Bolat emphasized that exports are a red line for them.
Stating that they target a total of 410 billion dollars in goods and services exports this year, Minister Bolat expressed that they also expect to break a new monthly record in September.
