As a result of escalating air strikes between Russia and Ukraine, a total of 10 people lost their lives in both countries. Following these developments, US President Donald Trump urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to reach an agreement with Russia.
Toll of the Attacks
Four people lost their lives in Russian attacks across Ukraine. Two women died under the rubble of their homes in the Zaporizhzhia region, while two others were killed in a separate attack on Sumy.

The Russian military targeted Ukraine with cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, guided bombs, and jet-powered drones. A warehouse fire broke out in the Kyiv region, four people were injured in the capital, and a data center was damaged.
Facilities in Russia
Long-range Ukrainian drones targeted industrial facilities and the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region. Three people died and two were injured in these attacks.

According to information shared by Yevgeny Balitsky, a regional official appointed by Moscow, three people lost their lives during nighttime attacks in the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine.
Diplomatic Developments
US President Donald Trump stated that he expects Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, whom he met at the United Nations General Assembly, to make a deal with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. In his address to the United Nations, Zelenskyy called on the international community to cut off Russia's sources of revenue.
