Sağlık-Sen Batman Branch Held its 6th Ordinary General Assembly

The 6th Ordinary General Assembly of the Sağlık-Sen Batman Branch was held with the broad participation of headquarters executives, branch presidents, non-governmental organizations, and members.

The 6th Ordinary General Assembly of the Sağlık-Sen Batman Branch was concluded with broad participation. Sağlık-Sen Deputy Chairman Yasin Barutçu, branch presidents from numerous provinces, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and union members attended the meeting.

Emphasis on Field Unionism

Speaking at the general assembly, Sağlık-Sen Batman Branch President İbrahim Halil Dursun stated that they promised to conduct unionism in the field rather than in offices. Dursun expressed that they increased the number of members in Batman to 2,610 individuals, making them the authorized union by a wide margin.

Messages Regarding Gaza and Jerusalem

Branch President İbrahim Halil Dursun also opened a separate parenthesis for Jerusalem and Gaza in his speech. Dursun emphasized that they will continue to stand by the oppressed under all circumstances, drawing attention to international developments and the humanitarian dramas taking place.

Total Membership Nationwide Reached 300 Thousand

Taking the floor at the meeting, Sağlık-Sen Deputy Chairman Yasin Barutçu touched upon the union's strength nationwide. Barutçu noted that Sağlık-Sen has reached a total of 300 thousand members and holds the position of Turkey's largest non-governmental organization in the field of health.
