112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees Mass to Be Held in Washington, D.C.
During the religious service to be held within the framework of the special theme set by Pope Leo XIV, attention will be drawn to the protection and rights of refugee children.
A special Mass will be held at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C., on the occasion of the 112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees. The service will be led by Cardinal Robert McElroy, Archbishop of Washington.

Calls for social solidarity have been made since its construction for the meaningful ceremony to be held at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle, located in Washington, D.C. Within the scope of the event, participants will come together to pray for refugees.

The event will begin on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 4:35 PM, starting with the recitation of the Rosary led by Bishop Robert Boxie, III. Following this, the main Mass and homily presided over by Cardinal Robert McElroy will take place at 5:30 PM.
