Albion College Rises in 2027 U.S. News Rankings

Albion College achieved significant success in the 2027 national university rankings released by U.S. News & World Report, climbing 12 spots in the overall list to secure the 119th position.

First in Michigan for Social Mobility

Albion College recorded a 7-point increase compared to last year in the social mobility category, which measures lower-income students' access to higher education and graduation success. With this result, the school ranked 66th nationally and claimed the top spot among private national liberal arts colleges in Michigan.

Significant Rise in Overall Rankings

In the U.S. News & World Report evaluation, the institution climbed 12 spots at once in the overall rankings to reach 119th place among national liberal arts colleges. This achievement marks the school's best overall ranking since 2016.

Comprehensive Evaluation Criteria

Approximately 1,500 four-year undergraduate institutions in the U.S. were examined for the list. Various performance metrics, such as graduation rates, first-year retention rates, student debt, student-faculty ratio, and academic peer assessments, were taken into account in the evaluations.
