Canadian Fan Protests Lake Name at FIBA Women's World Cup

US President Donald Trump's recent executive decree changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America was protested by a fan at the FIBA Women's World Cup matches. A Canadian basketball fan watching the game clearly showed their dissatisfaction with the decision by carrying a banner.
Protest with a Banner
A Canadian fan drew attention to the decision that came after the collapse of trade negotiations between the US and Canada.
On one side of the banner prepared by the fan, "Lake America" was written in blue pen, while the other side featured the phrase "Lake Ontario" in red pen.
Renaming of the Lake
