Military conflicts between the United States of America and Iran have escalated with reciprocal attacks. While the US Central Command completed airstrikes targeting Iranian military facilities, Iran launched retaliatory strikes against American bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Erbil.

New Airstrikes Conducted by CENTCOM

The US Central Command reported the completion of a new wave of airstrikes targeting air defense facilities, radar systems, naval assets, mine-laying capabilities, and communication facilities belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

According to information based on US officials, two Iranian state tankers were also targeted and hit during this operation.

Projectiles Hitting Civilian Settlements and Casualties

Following the attacks, it was announced that bombs hit a wedding taking place at a residence in the Sirik region near the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in deaths and injuries.

The Iranian Red Crescent and local sources reported that at least 5 people, including a child, lost their lives and dozens were injured.

Strong Reaction from the Iranian Foreign Ministry

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei condemned the attack, stating that civilians were directly targeted.

Iranian state media provided briefings regarding the rising total casualties from US attacks across the country.

Warning from Donald Trump to the Tehran Administration

US President Donald Trump stated that the strikes were carried out in response to Iran's attempts to lay mines in the strait and attacks on military bases.

Warning the Tehran administration, Trump claimed that if Iran retaliates, they will face a much more severe response and almost the entirety of the country could be destroyed.

Iran's Retaliation Against American Bases in the Region

Responding with a promise of severe punishment, Iran launched attacks against American interests and military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.

The Revolutionary Guards announced that an intense ballistic missile attack was carried out on Camp Titin, a US Marine Corps base in Jordan, and that bases in Erbil, Iraq, were targeted.
