According to statements by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the total Palestinian death toll in the ongoing conflicts has crossed the 74,000 threshold, while diplomatic and military activity across the region continues unabated.
Death Toll and Current Status in Gaza
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the total death toll since the beginning of the conflicts has risen to 74,016, with 175,068 people injured.
In the period following the ceasefire that came into effect last October, 1,145 Palestinians lost their lives, while seven Israeli soldiers also died.
Israeli Attacks on Gaza Continue
Israeli attacks on central and southern Gaza areas left at least two Palestinians dead and numerous others injured.
One person was killed in an attack targeting a vehicle in Gaza City, while a separate attack in the Muwasi area of Khan Younis resulted in one death and three injuries.
Iran-US Contacts Regarding the Strait of Hormuz
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that they have not received official notification that U.S. President Donald Trump has rejected Tehran's proposed agreement for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Araghchi expressed that they are awaiting a response from mediators, noting that they are fully prepared for the resumption of war while remaining open to diplomacy.
Israel's Decision Regarding Dutch Diplomats
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that they have informed the Dutch embassy that diplomats in Ramallah must leave the country within a week.
This decision was reportedly made in response to the law implemented by the Netherlands on September 22 concerning the import and trade of goods originating from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
Conflicts in Yemen and the Taiz Region
The World Health Organization reported that approximately 700 people have lost their lives since conflicts escalated in Yemen last month.
The Iran-backed Houthis accused Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces of carrying out an attack on a market in Taiz province, while the internationally recognized government denied these allegations.
