In the accident, which took place near the village of Susch in the Graubunden canton of eastern Switzerland, it was reported that the bus crashed into barriers before overturning and plunging down an embankment.
Condition of the Injured
Police officials announced that out of the 40 people injured in the accident, 3 are in critical condition, 7 have moderate injuries, and 30 are lightly injured.
Rescue Operations
It was noted that 7 rescue helicopters and 13 ambulance teams were dispatched to the region to evacuate the victims following the accident, and intensive work was carried out.
Tour Bus Details
A spokesperson for the General Association of Dutch Travel Agencies, speaking on behalf of tour operator OAD, stated that all 48 passengers on the bus were Dutch citizens.
