As part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Gran Turismo series, a comprehensive and free major update called 'Spec IV' has been announced for Gran Turismo 7. Released in two phases, the update will add new tracks, cars, and modes to the game.
Update Release Schedule
The free Spec IV major update prepared for Gran Turismo 7 will be released to players in two separate parts, the first in October and the second in December 2026. Many new features will be added to the game with these updates.
October Content
The first installment, releasing in October, includes the Sportsland SUGO track, six new cars, an opening cinematic, a Classic Cars section, the Car Advisor service, the Experience mode, the Car Viewer, and an increased collector level cap.
December Content
The second part, arriving in December, features the Autumn Ring track, six new cars, Family mode, Mixed Race, Online Drift Trial, a new evolution of Gran Turismo Sophy, and a new difficulty level for the Power Pack.
