With the goal of becoming an attractive destination for cultural and artistic events at the regional and global levels, Vietnam's capital Hanoi is hosting major organizations such as the 2nd World Culture Festival held at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and the Hanoi Open Dragon Boat and SUP Racing Championship.

Acting with the goal of making Vietnam an attractive hub for cultural and artistic events worldwide, Hanoi has successfully implemented major organizations that draw tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of visitors.

International Art Gatherings

The Thang Long-Hanoi Festival managed to leave its mark with the participation of numerous international art troupes, including a troupe from India.

In late September and early October, the city implemented many high-level international events to create an ecosystem for sustainable cultural development.

Details of the 2nd World Culture Festival

One of the highlights of the events was recorded as the 2nd World Culture Festival organized at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long from October 1 to 4.

Co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Hanoi People's Committee, the festival brought together 50 countries and international organizations.

Themes Shaping the Future

Held under the theme 'Convergence of Cultural Heritage - Shaping the Future,' the organization aimed to increase global cultural interaction and build a shared future.

Dragon Boat and SUP Racing Championship

Held on October 3-4 with the participation of a total of 900 athletes, the Hanoi Open Dragon Boat and SUP Racing Championship took place as the largest organization to date.

Completed Major Festivals

Hanoi has left behind important events such as the Thang Long-Hanoi Festival, which drew 250,000 visitors, the first International Jazz Festival with 12,000 participants, and the International Martial Arts Festival.

Incentives for the Cultural Industry

The city administration issued resolutions providing various incentives such as preferential rates, promotional support, and direct financial backing for organizations in the cultural industry.

Additionally, local government has implemented comprehensive economic incentives to support cultural institutions.
