The Ministry of Health announced that more than 4 million elderly individuals underwent comprehensive health screenings at family health centers in the first nine months of the year.
According to a statement made by the Ministry of Health on the occasion of October 1 International Day of Older Persons, comprehensive health assessments were carried out for over 4 million elderly individuals at family health centers during the first nine months of the year.

Assessment at Family Health Centers
With the Disease Management Platform application, health screenings were performed on individuals aged 65 and over by taking more than 20 parameters into account.
Family physicians and family health workers examined the health status of over 4 million elderly citizens in the first nine-month period of the year.
Healthy Aging Centers
Within the scope of the HEALTHY AGING (YAŞAM) circular, the home and on-site medical care needs of individuals aged 80 and over were meticulously identified.
Thanks to these home care services carried out, direct healthcare was delivered to a total of 266 thousand people across the country.
e-Report System Services
Medical supply reports for citizens aged 80 and over as well as bedridden individuals were updated through the e-report system.
Within the scope of the process of renewing reports for formula, medication, diapers, and various medical devices, the reports of 983 thousand 567 people were renewed nationwide.
