Home Health Services Provided to Elderly Citizens in Çorum
Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Sinan Zehir stated during a visit on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons that health support is provided to thousands of elderly people throughout the city.
During home visits held in Çorum on the occasion of October 1 International Day of Older Persons, the number of elderly citizens benefiting from home health services across the province was announced.
Meaningful Visit and Celebration
Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Sinan Zehir visited a 100-year-old citizen at home on the occasion of the October 1 International Day of Older Persons.
Chatting with the elderly citizen during the visit, Zehir received information about their health status and wished them a peaceful life.

According to TUIK data, it was stated that 19,458 citizens aged 80 and over live in Çorum.
The health conditions of the elderly are monitored with a holistic approach through the Healthy Aging Centers operating in public hospitals in the province.
Home Health Services
Services are provided on-site by teams to 3,781 elderly citizens in need of home health care who have difficulty reaching health institutions.
It was stated that 2,445 of these citizens receiving services are aged 80 and over.
