Iranian President Pezeshkian Denies Nuclear Weapon Claims and Reacts to Washington

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that they do not want to possess nuclear weapons and announced that they are ready to lower the uranium enrichment level and undergo international inspections. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian firmly rejected claims that his country wants to acquire nuclear weapons.

Stating in line with the Supreme Leader's fatwas that weapons of mass destruction are religiously forbidden and inappropriate.

Uranium Dilution and Inspection Offer

Pezeshkian expressed that they are open to lowering uranium levels in order to reduce nuclear tensions.

He stated that they see no problem with the international community inspecting their nuclear facilities.

US and Israel Blamed for Middle East Conflicts

The Iranian leader placed the responsibility for ongoing conflicts on the US and Israel, accusing the Washington administration of blocking diplomacy.

He emphasized that his country exercises its right to self-defense against attacks and does not want war.

Emphasis on Agreement Process and Diplomacy

Referring to the memorandum of understanding signed in June, Pezeshkian stated that they want to remain committed to the framework agreement reached with the US.

He stated that America chose the path of direct bombing instead of establishing dialogue and blocked the roads.
