Israeli airstrikes targeting a village in southern Lebanon leave nine people dead

Israeli airstrikes on the village of Kfar Rumman in southern Lebanon killed nine people, including a child, two women, and a paramedic.
Strikes Targeting the Village of Kfar Rumman
According to a statement by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, airstrikes hitting the village of Kfar Rumman in the south of the country left nine people dead and eleven others injured.
In a separate strike targeting a moving car in the village, a paramedic lost their life, while two individuals were hospitalized for treatment.
Yemen and Houthi Activity
On the Yemen front, forces affiliated with the Iran-backed Houthi movement claimed to have shot down Saudi Arabian armed reconnaissance drones in the Al-Jawf and Al-Bayda governorates.
Meanwhile, Yemeni government forces reported carrying out airstrikes against Houthi positions in response to these developments.
Statements Regarding the Strait of Hormuz
A high-ranking United Arab Emirates official emphasized that no single state should control the Strait of Hormuz, following Iran's plans to establish an exclusion zone near the waterway.
