Goddard School Preschoolers Experience Broadcast Journalism for World News Day

Students at The Goddard School in Plymouth had the opportunity to closely get to know the profession of broadcasting during a special event held for World News Day.

World News Day Event

Preschool students studying at The Goddard School participated in an interactive workshop organized as part of career orientation. On the occasion of this special day, the little ones observed the operations of a newsroom firsthand.

Hands-on Experience with an Anchor

During the gathering held with the participation of CCX News anchor Emily Haugen, the children held real microphones in their hands for the first time. Stepping behind the desk, the students practiced reporting and conducting interviews.

Fun and Curious Moments

Colorful and cheerful dialogues took place during the hands-on training; the students talked about their favorite colors, sports, and pets. School owner Anthony Miller stated that such events reinforce children's sense of curiosity.
