Ziraat Bankası and the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) have cooperated to provide financing support of up to 10 million dollars with a 7-year maturity, including a 2-year grace period, for investments in the agriculture and food sector within the framework of the TARGET Project carried out with World Bank financing.

Scope of the TARGET Project and Cooperation

Ziraat Bankası and the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution have signed an important agreement regarding the financing of investments in the agriculture and food sector within the scope of the Turkey Agribusiness Transformation for Employment and Rural Prosperity Project.

Financing Conditions and Loan Details

Within the scope of the project, reimbursable financing of up to 80 percent of the investment amount can be provided, and resources of up to 10 million dollars will be utilized depending on the project size.

Maturity Period and Areas of Use

The financing to be provided will be offered with a maturity of up to 7 years, with a maximum 2-year grace period, and will be utilized for the construction of facilities and machinery and equipment investments.

Budget Targets and First Phase Plan

It is targeted to transfer 750 million dollars of resources to the market in the first phase of the total financing planned as 5.3 billion dollars over a 10-year period.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Ahmet Bağcı and Ziraat Bankası General Manager Alpaslan Çakar made evaluations regarding the project at the signing ceremony.

Calendar and Application Processes

The project announcement is planned to be made by TKDK by the end of 2026, and financing disbursements are planned to start in 2027.
