The university also ranked 45th among the Best Public Schools in the southern region, becoming one of the five institutions from Louisiana to break into the top 50.
Student Enrollment and Support Programs
This fall semester, McNeese experienced enrollment growth for the third consecutive year through both new student recruitment and student retention.
Implemented in alignment with strategic goals, the First-Year Experience and CARE Mentorship programs support students' academic success and transition processes.

Campus Infrastructure and New Centers
Opened this spring semester, the Elizabeth and Leslie Richard Student Union offers students a modern cafeteria and study spaces.
Additionally, the LNG Center of Excellence, established to contribute to the region's economic growth, commenced operations this year.
Future Projects and Health Services
Renovation work has begun for the McNeese Autism Program clinical facility, which will serve the local population struggling with neurodevelopmental disorders.
This facility will also create an important clinical internship area for graduate students studying applied behavior analysis.
