A funeral service will be held for Prof. Dr. İoanna Kuçuradi on Sunday, October 4, which would have been her 90th birthday. Following the ceremony at the Maltepe University Architect Vedat Çakırca Conference Hall, her body will be buried in the Şişli Greek Orthodox Cemetery.
Academic Life and Departments She Founded
Born in Istanbul in 1936, İoanna Kuçuradi graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Istanbul University in 1959. In 1969, she founded the Department of Philosophy at Hacettepe University and served as its chair until 2003.

Kuçuradi authored numerous significant works such as "Man and His Values", "Human Rights: Concepts and Problems", "Law Required by Justice", "Schopenhauer and Man", and "Nietzsche and Man".
