US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that they aim to keep the country under pressure with sanctions until the Iranian administration reaches an agreement. In contrast, Pezeshkian expressed that Tehran is ready to return to the negotiation table provided that the US complies with the terms of the June memorandum of understanding.
