Salisbury University Rises in National Achievement Rankings

Salisbury University maintained its top-tier standing by increasing its score and position in the newly published 2026 U.S. News & World Report 'Best Colleges' list.

Position in the Northern Region

Salisbury University achieved a ranking of 45th overall in the 'Best Regional Universities' category for the northern region.

Within the same region, it rose compared to last year to claim the 16th spot on the 'Top Public Schools' list.

Economic and Social Achievements

The institution was also featured on the 'Best Colleges for Veterans' list and recognized among top performers in 'Social Mobility'.

Its Undergraduate Nursing Programs also drew acclaim among the nation's leading academic curricula.

Leadership Assessment

University President Carolyn Ringer Lepre expressed pride in the achievement and thanked the faculty and students.

President Lepre emphasized that the education provided plays a critical role in preparing students for the future and strengthening communities.

Assessments by Other Publications

Aside from U.S. News, Salisbury University was also featured on lists by organizations such as The Princeton Review, Money, Forbes, and Washington Monthly.

These publications continue to rank the university among the most successful higher education institutions in the country and region.
