Meteorological Expectations and Regional Situation
Atul Kumar Singh from the Regional Meteorological Center in Lucknow stated that rainfall is expected to lose its intensity as the system over the Bay of Bengal weakens.
Situation in Odisha and Nepal
While the flood disaster also affected the eastern state of Odisha, 21 people lost their lives due to weather conditions in neighboring Nepal, where thousands went through a difficult ordeal.
