Transportation and Event Cancellations
Dozens of flights at airports in Boston, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard, along with concerts, were cancelled. Many airlines offered to waive certain change and cancellation fees for East Coast flights. Additionally, the game schedule for the Red Sox and Chicago Cubs was modified, and Ed Sheeran concerts were cancelled.

National Weather Service officials reported that high winds, high tides, and heavy rain were expected for the northeastern US.
