According to state broadcaster reports, six-year-old speedcuber Lian Yunzhi, nicknamed Zhizhi, achieved a historic success at two separate certified competitions held this month.
Historic Average Times
The young athlete solved the Rubik's cube five times to achieve averages of 4.52 and 4.27 seconds, earning the title of the first female speedcuber to drop below 4.5 seconds.
Introduction to the Cube and Family Support
Lin Yangxi, the mother of the child from the city of Chengdu, stated that her daughter was introduced to the Rubik's cube through a course she attended alongside various classes such as dance and music.
Intensive Daily Training Program
Realizing the importance of cubes in children's development, the mother stated that her daughter trains for two to three hours daily and has mastered over 1,300 solving algorithms.
