Star Trek fans will come together for numerous different events worldwide to celebrate the iconic sci-fi franchise's 60th anniversary. Celebrations will focus on the anniversary of September 8, 1966, the date the series first aired on television.

Outdoor Screening in Los Angeles

On September 8 at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles, 'The Man Trap' episode of the original series and the 'Orders of Magnitude' episode of the new 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' series will be screened for free. The event will also feature cast appearances, food trucks, and giveaways.

4K Classic Movie Screenings in Theaters

As part of the celebrations, 4K restorations of classic Star Trek movies along with original series episodes will meet moviegoers in more than 750 theaters across the United States between September 4 and 8.

Special Broadcasts on Television Screens

For Star Trek, a television-focused franchise, major special content will also air on screens. On September 7, an archival special featuring interviews with creator Gene Roddenberry and cast members will air on 'Entertainment Tonight'.

Special Themed Game Shows
