The University of Scranton community celebrated the school being classified as a National University in the annual rankings of U.S. News and World Report.
Historic Classification and Announcement
At an event held in Robert S. and Marilyn A. Weiss Hall, the university's new standing at the national level was shared with the community.
University President Father Joseph G. Marina announced the new ranking, introduced by Student Government Vice President Connor Farrington.
Achieved Rankings
The university marked a significant achievement by ranking 137th among more than 420 peers.
Additionally, it secured top positions in categories such as graduate earnings, best private colleges, and graduation rates.
