Forming early Sunday, Tropical Storm Fay is located about 450 miles, or 730 kilometers, southwest of the Azores.
According to measurements, the storm's maximum sustained winds reach speeds of 45 miles per hour.

Based on information provided by the Miami-based National Hurricane Center, no coastal watches or warnings are currently in effect.
The system, which is expected to strengthen slightly in the short term, is projected to weaken completely and dissipate toward the end of the week.
