Within the scope of the new sanctions regime, an import ban on goods from illegal settlements, the blocking of construction and financing services, property advertisement bans, and personal measures targeting certain individuals will be implemented. International Participating Countries
The UK joined Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden as one of 12 countries that will impose sanctions on trade with Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

The measures taken are expected to come into effect within approximately nine months. Meanwhile, Miliband refrained from describing Israel's actions in Gaza as genocide, stating that international court rulings should be awaited.
