US President Donald Trump stated that he is at a decision-making stage regarding issues related to Iran, indicating that major developments could occur in the near future and listing three options on the table.

We Are at the Decision Stage Statement

US President Donald Trump expressed in an evaluation on Sunday that he is at a decision-making stage regarding matters related to Iran. He warned that if the Iranian regime maintains its stance, very big developments could occur in the near future.

Three Different Options on the Table

Trump stated that there are three possible paths ahead of them amid the tension and crisis environment with Iran. It was indicated that these options are to eliminate Iran, leave it in difficult economic straits, or reach an agreement.

Strait of Hormuz and UN Summit

It was announced that Iran conveyed its conditions for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz through intermediaries. These developments took place ahead of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's visit to New York for the United Nations General Assembly.

Yemen and Houthi Contacts

Trump stated that following ballistic missile attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, they are in contact with Houthi rebel groups in Yemen. He added that the group agreed not to attack American personnel.

Iran's Conditions and Demands

Iran's chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that conditions for the resumption of negotiations were conveyed to the US via Qatar. Meanwhile, Mohsen Rezaei, the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, reported that they demanded the war to end on all fronts, the release of frozen funds, and the lifting of the naval blockade.
