US President Trump Sends Kushner and Witkoff to Moscow and Kiev for Peace Plan

United States President Donald Trump announced that he has assigned Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to visit Moscow and Kiev to deliver a peace proposal aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, which is entering its fourth year.

Purpose of the Moscow and Kiev Visit

United States President Donald Trump shared the details of the trip that his son-in-law Jared Kushner and businessman friend Steve Witkoff will undertake over the weekend during a statement to members of the press.

Stating that the two negotiators are carrying a proposal with them that will end the war, Trump expressed his belief that an agreement could be reached between the parties.

Zelensky's Ceasefire Proposal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had announced that he proposed observing a ceasefire with Russia during the process in which US envoys will visit Moscow and Kiev.

Zelensky stated that no airstrikes would be launched from their side, and that Russia should likewise ensure a ceasefire by not conducting airstrikes reciprocally during the talks.

Response to Germany's Claims
