'They Can't Even Go To Bathroom': Trump Boasts Of Near-Total US Surveillance Over Iran

Following violent clashes between the two countries that resulted in the deaths of at least 18 people in Iran, US President Donald Trump announced that the US has near-total surveillance capability over Iran.

Oval Office Statements

US President Donald Trump stated in his remarks to reporters in the Oval Office that he does not expect the clashes with Iran to last very long.

Trump explicitly stated that the US is fully prepared to launch a new attack against Iran whenever they want.

Violent Clashes and Casualties

In the largest wave of mutual attacks since July, at least 18 people lost their lives in Iran and approximately 108 people were injured.

The Tehran administration reported that the US military targeted the southern coastline near the Strait of Hormuz and a wedding ceremony in the city of Kuhestak.

Control of the Strait of Hormuz

Speaking after the attacks, Trump said that they hit Iran very hard and that they keep the strategic Strait of Hormuz—which has been kept closed by Tehran for six months—under control.

Mentioning the US surveillance capability, Trump made assertive statements, indicating that they are following the moves of Iranians step by step.

Economic Pressure and Regional Retaliations

In addition to military steps, the Washington administration threatened sanctions against Iran's trade partners and pledged to choke the country's economy.

Iran retaliated by targeting US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
