The 29th World Archery Field Championships officially kicked off this week at the Lewis and Clark Recreation Area in South Dakota, USA. A total of 244 athletes from 31 different countries are participating in the event.

The competitions, which will continue on the second day with a 24-target marked course, will conclude after elimination rounds and finals. Immediately following the championship, the World 3D Archery Championships will be held at the same facility.
