Waiting for Post-Election Trilateral Talks

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy clearly stated in his assessment on Thursday that a trilateral summit focused on ending the war is not planned before the elections to be held in Russia.

While parliamentary elections across Russia are scheduled to be held on September 20, it was emphasized that no new steps will be taken in this diplomatic format until the process is completed.

Contacts with the US and Future Expectations

Stating that Ukrainian and US negotiators are maintaining their contacts without interruption, Zelenskyy conveyed that the dialogue channel between the two parties remains open.

It was stated that hopes are maintained for progress in negotiations on energy and grain issues following the meeting with US President Donald Trump in late September.
