19th Mechanical Engineering and Energy Technology Conference Held in Vietnam
The 19th Mechanical Engineering and Energy Technology Conference, held in Vietnam, brought together experts from 22 different institutions to evaluate current technological developments and academic studies in the fields of artificial intelligence and renewable energy.
The 19th Mechanical Engineering and Energy Technology Conference, held at the Water Resources University in Vietnam on October 18, 2026, brought together representatives from the mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy sectors. During the event, 82 academic studies selected from over 100 submissions were examined, and critical topics such as wave energy and industrial rheology were discussed.
The opening speeches of the conference were delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Canh Thai, Vice Rector of the Water Resources University, and Professor Dr. Vu Duc Lap, President of the Mechanical Engineering-Energy Engineering Club. The meeting aimed to accelerate technology transfer in Vietnam and strengthen academic cooperation.
Within the scope of the event, 8 educators who were entitled to receive the titles of professor and associate professor in 2025 were honored. Additionally, at the closing of the conference, the hosting duty for the 20th conference to be held in 2027 was transferred to the Vietnam Maritime University.
